uPVC casement window, Loughton
The previous window installation had been left with rough edges, heavy sealant and an untidy finish around the opening. We took it out and fitted one new Liniar uPVC casement in its place.
Installed
The old kitchen window had been fitted badly by a cowboy builder. The before photographs show the rough perimeter, exposed edges and heavy sealant left around the frame. This was not a small hardware repair. The right answer was to remove the window and start again with the opening.
We fitted one new Liniar uPVC casement window, then sealed and finished it neatly against the brickwork outside and the tiled reveal inside. The customer kept the same simple one-window layout, but the frame, opener and finish were replaced as one complete installation.
The new frame is anthracite grey outside to sit with the surrounding rainwater goods and exterior details, with white inside against the kitchen tiles. The customer obtained the initial price online, then a sales visit confirmed the measurements and final details before Aaron fitted it.
