Whitehouse homes, and what to check first.
The homes. Whitehouse is part of the Western Expansion Area, built from the mid-2010s, with modern family houses, townhouses and apartments.
What that means. Almost everything here is new, so the work is mostly garden doors, better front doors than the builder fitted and glazing for extensions.
Check first. Check your deeds and estate management rules before changing the front of the house, and whether your builder's warranty is still running.

Buying composite doors in Whitehouse.
Product choices, pricing and what happens before we fit.
Can I design and price my composite door online?
Yes. Our online tool lets you choose a door style, colour, glass and furniture and build a price. A free consultation uses the same software and price list, with colour swatches brought to your home.
How do I get a price for composite doors?
Build your price online using approximate sizes, or book a free consultation and we price the job with you. Both use the same software and price list. Once you decide to go ahead, a technical survey confirms the measurements and fitting details before anything is made.
Do you supply and fit in Whitehouse?
Yes. We cover Whitehouse and its MK8 postcodes from our Milton Keynes base, and everyone who surveys and fits works for us. Nearby, we also fit composite doors in Shenley Church End, Stony Stratford and Wolverton.
Do I need permission to replace doors in Whitehouse?
New garden doors at the back of a Whitehouse home are usually permitted development. For the front of the house, check the deeds and any estate rules first, and in a flat the freeholder has to agree.

We have used Fensters for years on a variety of glazing work, and 2 door installations. They are competitively priced and responsive. They take great care over measuring and specifying the work, giving you a clear quote so you understand what you are getting (thanks Perry!). The fitters are all extremely competent and personable. We had to replace our front door for accessibility reasons, they gave us confidence that our requirements would be met, reproduced the intricate leaded and stained-glass pattern of our old door, and did a quality fitting job (thanks to Johnnie and Shane!). In summary they are our go-to suppliers for all replacement and repair work.
