Choosing French casement windows
Two opening sashes, one clear opening.
The opening
The centre section travels with one sash when both sides open. We check the usable aperture and the space outside for the sashes to swing.

Brooklands homes, and what to check first.
The homes. Brooklands is one of the newest parts of Milton Keynes, built from around 2010 on the eastern edge of the city, with a mix of houses, townhouses and apartments.
What that means. The windows here are recent, so most enquiries are for garden doors, extensions and roof lanterns, or for replacing a builder-standard front door with something better.
Check first. Some homes are still within a builder's warranty, and estate rules can cover the front of the house. Check both before changing anything on the street side.

Buying French casement windows in Brooklands.
Product choices, pricing and what happens before we fit.
Is French casement a material or a window layout?
It is a layout: two side-hung sashes open without a fixed centre mullion remaining in the aperture. We offer this arrangement in compatible uPVC and aluminium systems; the main configuration page shows the choices.
How do I get a price for French casement windows?
Build your price online using approximate sizes, or book a free consultation and we price the job with you. Both use the same software and price list. Once you decide to go ahead, a technical survey confirms the measurements and fitting details before anything is made.
Do you supply and fit in Brooklands?
Yes. We cover Brooklands and its MK10 postcodes from our Milton Keynes base, and everyone who surveys and fits works for us. Nearby, we also fit French casement windows in Monkston, Woburn Sands and Newport Pagnell.
Do I need permission to replace windows in Brooklands?
In Brooklands, check your deeds and any estate management rules before changing the front of the house, and keep your builder's warranty in mind. New garden doors at the back are usually permitted development.

Fenster have just completed a front door installation on my new property - fantastic job and strongly recommend! The online design tool is great, Perry back at HQ is brilliant as is his communication. Andy, who installed the door, is a top gent and professional. Will definitely be a returning customer.
