Choosing roof lanterns
Choose the lantern around the room beneath it.
Position and size
Think about the kitchen island, dining table and lighting below. We review the structural opening and upstand details with the roof design.

The glazing affects daylight and solar gain. Tell us how much sun reaches the roof so we can discuss an appropriate glass specification.

Bletchley homes, and what to check first.
The homes. Bletchley was a railway town long before Milton Keynes was drawn around it. Victorian and Edwardian terraces sit near the station and in Fenny Stratford, with 1930s bay-fronted semis and post-war estates such as the Lakes further out.
What that means. A bay-fronted semi and a 1960s estate house are different jobs. The bay has to be rebuilt around its support, while most estate houses are straight replacements where the decisions are glass, colour and opening style.
Check first. Bays carry the wall above them. Anyone quoting for a bay window here should be talking about how it is supported, not only the colour of the frame.

Buying roof lanterns in Bletchley.
Product choices, pricing and what happens before we fit.
Should I choose a roof lantern or a flat rooflight?
A lantern rises above the roof with an angled glazed structure; a flat rooflight has a flatter profile. The room layout, roof opening and appearance you want help determine the choice. We can review both with your drawings.
How do I get a price for roof lanterns?
Send us photographs, approximate sizes and your postcode. We review the specification with you and prepare a quote. You can also book a free consultation to discuss the options at home.
Do you supply and fit in Bletchley?
Yes. We cover Bletchley and its MK1, MK2 and MK3 postcodes from our Milton Keynes base, and everyone who surveys and fits works for us. Nearby, we also fit roof lanterns in Furzton, Shenley Church End, Woburn Sands and Leighton Buzzard.

I had an excellent experience with Fenster Glazing from start to finish. Nick Perry and David managed the initial quote to installation process seamlessly, keeping communication clear, honest, and completely stress-free. When it came to the actual fitting, Zac and Shane did a fantastic job with the installation, working efficiently and leaving everything spotless. The professionalism from the entire team was top-notch, and the final result looks brilliant. I highly recommend them.
