Choosing slide & fold doors
Each panel moves on its own.
Independent panels
The panels slide and turn individually rather than folding as a linked concertina. Try the movement at our Milton Keynes showroom.

Stony Stratford homes, and what to check first.
The homes. Stony Stratford grew up as a coaching town on Watling Street. The High Street has Georgian and older frontages and many listed buildings, with Victorian streets behind it and newer estates on the edges.
What that means. In the old town, character comes first: slim sightlines, sliding sash and flush casement styles and heritage colours matter more than they would on a modern estate. The newer edges are simpler replacements.
Check first. Much of the old town is a conservation area, and listed buildings need consent for any change to their windows or doors. Find out the status of your house before choosing a style.

Buying slide & fold doors in Stony Stratford.
Product choices, pricing and what happens before we fit.
How do slide and fold doors differ from bifolds?
Slide and fold panels move independently along the track and turn at the end. Bifold panels are linked together and fold as a concertina. The showroom has a slide and fold display so you can feel the movement before deciding.
How do I get a price for slide & fold doors?
Build your price online using approximate sizes, or book a free consultation and we price the job with you. Both use the same software and price list. Once you decide to go ahead, a technical survey confirms the measurements and fitting details before anything is made.
Do you supply and fit in Stony Stratford?
Yes. We cover Stony Stratford and its MK11 postcodes from our Milton Keynes base, and everyone who surveys and fits works for us. Nearby, we also fit slide & fold doors in Wolverton, Whitehouse and Buckingham.
Do I need permission to replace doors in Stony Stratford?
If your home is listed, new windows or doors need listed building consent from Milton Keynes City Council, and in the conservation area a change of style or material may need planning permission. On the newer estates, like-for-like replacements are usually permitted development.

Great service from Fenster Glazing, very happy with our new bi-fold door, glass door and windows (with built-in blinds) There was an issue with the wrong spec of glass provided to them from their supplier, so they had to temporarily board up a door and a window, but this was put right within a few weeks. Recommended, thanks.
